Call Ducks
Pastels
In the first photo is my Pastel Drake with both complete and sectoral heterochromia. He has one eye that is brown with a blue fragment, and one eye that is blue with a brown fragment. He is a very friendly duck who loves to sit with people and play.
In the second photo is my Pastel Hen. Call hens are known for how vocal they are, so much so that their breed is named after the trait. This duck loves the water and has a bad attitude when she's not swimming or playing in puddles. Her favorite past time is cuddling with her duck friends and burying her face in mud.
These ducks were my first ever ducks. They were born in June 2019, and have been with me since they were 2 days old. I got them unsexed and am so Lucky to have gotten a male and a female. They have shared over 6 years together and are truly the definition of soulmates.
White
Pictured here is my white call duck. He is the result of my two original call ducks recessive genes shining through. Out of all the ducklings they’ve had, this one was the first one born white so far. (Out of over 40 ducklings I’ve hatched, only 4 have been white, and oddly enough, all males too!) For about a year his mate was my Black East Indie hen, but now he is looking for his new forever partner.
